Three best friends played by Ranbir Kapoor, Adiya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin take off on an adventure camping trip and just before the advent of the trip the meet with Naina, played by Deepika Padukone who was the studious girl from their class. Four of them become friends and have a wonderful time on their trip to Manali.
Early enough Bunny (Ranbir Kapoor) announces his plan to travel the world and explore more instead of the boring and common plan marriage at 25, children at 30, retirement at 50 and then wait for death. For Bunny travelling is his love, his dream, his life. He is a well-established travel reporter and an anchor who shoots globally. The next destination he is offered is Paris for a big show.
Naina (Deepika Padukone) is a girl who becomes a doctor and hides her love for Bunny. While Aditi (Kalki Koechlin) marries not her love, Avi (Aditya Roy Kapoor) but a rich guy to have a comfortable and stable life in the most exotic location of Udaipur where the four friends reunite and love kindles between Naina and Bunny. His charm and her beauty are beyond comprehension in this movie.
