A visit to Surajkund mela is incomplete without a stop at the various different food stalls. Not just shopaholics, but the Surajkund mela is the go-to-place for all foodies as well. The multi-cuisine food stalls provide ethnic cuisines from all over India ranging from Rajasthani food, to Punjabi food, to South Indian food etc.
The different types of delicacies available there were chole bhature, the Indian platter which included daal makhni, shaahi paneer and butter naan, and street foods like bhel puri, aloo chat, golgappe, kachori and there was a very unique kind of tea called tandoori chai which attracted a lot of people towards it. There was a stall of fire pan and there were many people waiting in line to try it.

I visited Surajkund mela with my college friends, we ordered a North Indian platter, aloo chat and tikka chat, soya chaap etc. Indian dishes like daal makhni, shaahi paneer were made with a lot of better which tasted delicious along with butter naan. They had the household touch to it which made it more enjoyable to have at such a place. The curries were given along with a salad and a cup of raita to complete the dish. Street foods like bhel puri, pani puri etc. were presented in a way that looked mouth-watering which therefore attracted a lot of people.

Overall the food was really good. Even the foreigners were having a great time. It’s a delight for all the foodies who want to try food from all over the country as they can get the food in one single place.
Amar Jyoti restaurant review: The after shopping stop
For all the Delhiites, Amar Jyoti Restaurant in Sarojini Nagar has started a special deal of its own which provides unlimited dishes starting from Rs 199 which is cheap as well as an affordable deal for many people. The ambience there is also great.

The menu includes different cuisines and a variety of food. But the options for the deal includes unlimited Soya Chaap Tawa Masala with Tandoori Masala Roti for Rs 199, unlimited Chicken Seekh Tawa Masala with Tandoori Masala Roti for Rs 249 and unlimited Mutton Seekh Tawa Masala with Tandoori Masala Roti for Rs 399.
It is one of the best restaurant in Sarojini Nagar. After a busy day at the market, shopping all day, it’s a must to go to Amar Jyoti restaurant.
I went with my family and my experience there was good. We ordered the Chicken Seekh Tawa Masala with Tandoori Masala Roti and it was delicious. It was presented beautifully as well. We also tried their most recommended dish, Bhatti paneer, which was actually really good.
We also ordered some naan, daal, butter chicken etc. The naan was the star of the show, it went well with all the gravies, butter chicken was creamy and the pieces were nice and soft, daal was very good.

The quantity was enough to serve 9-10 people and the price was also reasonable. The quality was good. I would definitely recommend this place so that all the foodies could have good food after their busy and hectic day. Left fully satisfied and very full with such great food.

Q1) How did get into this field and would you like you continue it ?
Initially I used to get very bored when my college started. I used to have my college from Monday to Friday and Saturday Sundays off. So when I used to go home I used to feel very bored. I used to tell my mom that I am getting very bored take me out somewhere. My neighbour is a make up artist. One day she randomly called me just to try her make up skills and when I went she did make up on my face I realised that I have such a pretty face and that’s how I got an idea that I could take up modelling and blogging. I always wanted a profession where I could gain fame.
Q2) What do you like about the work the most?
One thing I like the most about my profession is that I get to meet a lot of new people, a lot of celebrities a lot of pastry people and I have made pretty good contacts in the past 2 1/2 years of my this profession. This is the thing that I like the most about my profession and ofcourse there are a lot of pros and cons like I get free accessories, make up kits etc and I have to out source it. So I find it pretty good.
Q3) What difficulty do you face in this career?
One difficulty that I feel the most in this career is that there is a lot of competition and you always have to be competitive and spontaneous in posting your pictures like if you don’t post a picture one day then people will just forget you like who is Nikita Chawla and so you have to post something or the other daily and have to create some good content to attract people.
Q4) How do you feel to be in a profession that is so travel friendly?
So as far as of now I have not travelled a lot because I’m not to travel blogger. But When I have travelled, I have had a great team who takes care of everything.
Q5) How do you manage to take healthy and nutritious food to stay fit?
So I used to be very chubby when my boards got over And it took me a while to lose weight and have a good body. Ever since then I think I have been Very active I have stopped loving junk food. I had started limiting my portion but of course one thing I could not live without is butter chicken and laccha parantha.
| Q6) What are the 5 most important things a model should carry while traveling? The five most important things that a model should carry are : Firstly, your lenses because you need to always wear them on some or the other shoot. Secondly, we should always have a power bank because you never know when your battery is about to die and you are stuck somewhere. Thirdly, you should always have your paper of contact so that you can make people sign it Like suppose if I’m doing a shoot today So I should definitely have a memorandum signed with you. For a record that I have done a shoot with that one person. Fourthly, you should always carry your heels because you never know that what shoot you are having. Lastly, you always need to have a spare set of inners like a spaghetti and a change of your bra because They can make you wear any type of clothes and you have to prevent yourself from unnecessary exposure. |
