Gully Boy has been one of the most successful and impactful films of the year 2019. Hence, the film has also managed to bag all the major awards in the 65th Filmfare Awards. Ranveer Singh recently shared a cute moment with the director Zoya Akhtar from a video chat where the two pulled off crazy faces as they were thrilled beyond words, since Gully Boy swept off all the available awards. Deepika Padukone was among the first ones to express her love and appreciation for the movie and for the moment under this post. Many other celebrities including Siddhant Chaturvedi, Dia Mirza and Sikandar Kher also shared similar sentiments
Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Male) award for his performance in Gully Boy.Elated with his win, he also shared a picture of him receiving the trophy from actress Madhuri Dixit. Ranveer penned a heartfelt note for Madhuri Dixit and expressed how special it was to receive the trophy from the ‘legend’.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt got the Best Actor In A Leading Role (Female) award for Gully Boy while Zoya Akhtar bagged the Best Director award for the film.
Siddhanth Chaturvedi, who played MC Sher, won the Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Male) award while Amruta Shah won Best Actor In A Supporting Role (Female) for playing the role of Ranveer Singh’s mother in Gully Boy.
