Todd Philips movie The Hangover, is an action-comedy movie. This story revolves around three best friends, Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stuart (Ed Helms), and Doug (Justin Bartha) plan a trip for Doug’s bachelor party to Las Vegas. Alan (Zach Galifianakis) bride’s brother also joins the gang on their trip to Las Vegas.
The movie starts with a suspense by showing Phil telling Tracy (Sasha Barrese) the bride, that the groom is missing and tells her that the wedding won’t be taking place.

Phil is married and has a child and is a teacher by profession. Stu is a dentist by profession and is in a relationship with Melissa (Rachael Harris) who is a dominating, uncaring, unfaithful woman who was completely controlling Stu. Due to this Stu had to lie to his girlfriend that he was going to Napa Valley instead of Las Vegas.
We now flash back two days to their road trip to Vegas for a bachelor party. We can see that all four boys are set to go for their trip in Doug’s future father-in-law Sid’s vintage Mercedes Benz W1111. When they reach Vegas they spend the night at Caesar’s Palace, where they relax in their hotel suite before celebrating with a few drinks on the hotel rooftop.
The next morning Phil, Stu, and Alan wake up and have no memory about last night. Doug is missing and is nowhere to be found. Their suite is in a state complete of mess.
When they are searching for Doug they get involved in a lot of incidents which includes a visit to a wedding chapel, a violent encounter with a very mean Chinese mobster Mr. Chow (Ken Jeong), a sweet hooker who turns out to be Stu’s wife, Jade (Heather Graham) who also has child named Tyler, an interview with an emergency room doctor and an encounter with Mike Tyson, whose tiger they have stolen.
At the end we can see that how Stu remembers where Doug could be and finds him on the roof of the hotel all alone. As they are all set to head back home Stu realises that he is in an unhealthy relationship with Melissa and wants to breakup with her as soon as their trip ends. Instead he asks Jade to go out on a date with him.
On their way back home, the car is totally destroyed but their trip was astounding. Doug and Tracy are happily married, Phil is lucky to be back with his family safely and Stu breaks up with her girlfriend and is very happy.
The Hangover is an excellent movie which has surely set a trend of taking bachelor trips to Las Vegas and gives us many advices on how to go about our bachelor/bachelorette trips. At last we can never forget the very famous dialogue “WHAT HAPPENS IN VEGAS STAYS IN VEGAS”.
