Varun Dhawan

Varun Dhawan is an Indian actor who was born on 24 April 1987. His father David Dhawan is a film director as well as his elder brother Rohit Dhawan. Prior to his acting career, Varun Dhawan worked as an assistant director with Karan Johar on his drama film My Name Is Khan (2010). In 2012, Dhawan made his debut as an actor in Karan Johar’s romantic comedy film Student Of The Year alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. 

Varun Dhawan has worked in a lot of movies like Mai Tera Hero, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Badlapur, Badrinath Ki Dulhania, ABCD 2, Kalank and many more. But his latest movie Street Dancer 3 was a hit.

To promote the movie, the whole cast travelled a lot. They went to Amity University which is in Noida where a lot of other actors/actresses promote their films as well. They went to Punjab as well.

The whole cast of the film went on the sets of Dance Plus 5 as the movie is also based on dance only. Many actors from the film are a part of Dance Plus 5 such as Raghav Juyal who is the anchor, Dharmesh and Punit who are the captains and Remo D’Souza who is the super judge as well as the director of the movie.

To launch the song Illegal Weapon 2.0, the whole cast of the film travelled to New Delhi where they portray the street dance battle between two dance teams from India and Pakistan.
