Places not to miss out on your next trip to Bangkok

Thailand is a Southeast Asian country. It is known for its tropical beaches, royal palaces, temples, floating market and its food and culture. There are many islands likes Krabi, Phuket, Koh Samui, Phi Phi islands, that actually make up Thailand. Bangkok is the capital and most famous city of Thailand. The street food, the tuk tuk rides, the shopping, the night markets and late night walks on beaches the list is never ending. So here are some of the places that Bangkok is famous for.

1. The floating markets in Bangkok are among the city’s star attractions. Almost every traveller has a visit to at least one on their first trip to Bangkok. The best thing about the floating markets in Bangkok is that they are open all day and you don’t even have to sacrifice your sleep on a holiday. The top three floating markets in Bangkok are Damnoen Saduak market, Amphawa floating market and Taling Chan floating market. These three are the floating markets to which a lot of tourists come.

2. The temples in Bangkok are a unique part of the capital. The temples are not just a tourist attraction spot but they also play an important part in Buddhist traditions. A visit to Bangkok is not complete without visiting a temple. The best time to visit the temple is in the early morning. It is less crowded and you can enter the temple easily. Although there are some rules like, always wear appropriate clothes, no shorts etc. that should always be followed by the people.

3. Asiatique The Riverfront is Bangkok’s first large scale river side project which includes shopping, rides, restaurants as well as street food. It is basically a night market which starts at 6pm and is open all night. At first it was not famous but now it is the number one tourist destination.

4. Platinum fashion mall specialises in wholesale fashion clothing and accessories, with 6 floors of shopping space. Platinum mall is sp big that it could take up your entire day. It is quite cheap as well. It has shops which includes casual clothing’s. Some of the shops have the same stuff but the prices could vary.

5. Bangkok is famous for its night life. There are two types of night life in Bangkok. Those who want to shop and buy stuff can go to the night markets which are on every street. The party animals can party till 5 in the morning at the famous night clubs like Sky Bar- lebua, Levels, Insanity etc.
