Bhoot Review: A movie on the haunted ship

It is a story on a man who is a shipping officer Prithvi (Vicky Kaushal) and is going through a massive personal lost.

This movie is based on a true incident. In the starting, the scenes were quit chilling but later it turns to the flashes of the incident that led to the Sea Bird becoming the haunted ship. Vicky Kaushal (Prithvi) carries his guilt and also his new mission with honesty.

Bhumika Pednekar (Jyoti) as Prithvi’s wife puts a short and special appearance, while Ashutosh Rana as professor Joshi was someone who chased away the ghost. Even his chanting of mantras failed.

Generally, horror films in Bollywood are funny, but this was the first film which was a bit scary. It was scary because of its sound effects, nothing else. The make up done to the characters were a bit funny. But the film managed to throw some terrifying moments. Overall this movie didn’t bore the audience even once, everyone were so engrossed in the film.

The duration of the movie was short. Leaving us with some abrupt scenes. Also, the movie ended abruptly leaving us waiting for the big reveal because the ghost is still around. It did give you goosebumps but also it made you laugh.
